We had a Be A Buddy Not A Bully programme on Saturday, 03 August with our buddies in Grade 4-6 from Conville and Rosemoor.
Lots of personal stories of bullying were shared and the buddies were asked how they would react in such a situation.
In dealing with #bullies, Buddy Coordinator, Reneé reminded them that every action attracts a reaction. She advised them to speak up and seek help when being bullied as keeping quiet often gives the bully more power.
We had a fun colouring in competition and choosing the winners were not an easy task. The buddies loved being a part of the short video clip to help spread #awareness to “Be A Buddy, Not A Bully”.
