Each school break, we welcome an average of 48 children per day, with the programme typically running during the first week after schools close. Our recent July Holiday Programme, held from 30 June to 02 July at the Thembalethu Community Hall, was once again a great success.
Our Buddy Holiday Programme continues to be a lifeline for families during school holidays, offering parents peace of mind knowing their children are safe, well-fed, and meaningfully engaged.
Beyond the fun and games, what truly sets our programme apart is the opportunity for children to learn essential life skills that empower them at home. Whether it’s washing their own school uniform or sewing on a button, these small victories build independence and confidence.
Together, we’re not only keeping children safe, we’re equipping them with skills that last a lifetime.
