School holidays are often a difficult time for many families in our communities. With children at home and resources stretched thin, access to daily meals becomes an ongoing struggle. That’s why our Nelson Mandela Day initiative is so close to our hearts – it’s an opportunity to bring comfort, nourishment, and joy to those who need it most.

This year, we reached hundreds of children across Rosemoor, Borcherds, Conville, Thembalethu, Kleinkrantz, Wilderness Heights, Lancewood, and Touwsranten, serving a remarkable 2,610 sandwiches and 1,355 cups of soup. Each meal was more than just food – it was a message of hope, a reminder that they are not forgotten.

We are deeply grateful to all the donors and local businesses who generously contributed, helping us prepare and distribute the sandwiches and soup.

In the spirit of Nelson Mandela, we remain committed to spreading kindness, hope, and happiness one child, one meal, one community at a time.
