Our hearts are broken 
The heavy winds and relentless rains have caused destruction at our safe house. For 12 years it has been a place of comfort and healing for countless children who were placed there. Be it for a day or a few months, we saw many children smile again after experiencing trauma.
Yesterday we evacuated the foster mother and children and tomorrow, rain permitting (and should we find somewhere to store everything), we will move it all until we can rebuild.
With no electricity we have had to hire security guards to protect the premises.
