Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) took place on 23 July in our skills centre at the office. The meeting focused on our successes and challenges during the period 2023-2024, each of our teams got an opportunity to introduce themselves and share their highlights.
We had a minute of silence for two former staff members who have passed recently – we remember them for the role they have played at the organisation and in serving the community.
The highlight of the evening was the success stories shared by two of our former Buddies, Rivaldo and Muchegann who are now both Little Lions facilitators. They reflected on the positive impact of the Buddy Programme and our coordinators, Reneé and Cornelius in their personal and academic growth. They also expressed their thanks to the organisation for assisting them with stationery hampers throughout their school careers.
